scene. >> a family of four inside their home was found dead. the investigation continues this afternoon. at the high school of one of the children students are mourning. that story is coming up. >> we can together no matter what. >> @ westfield high, there was a gathering among students. hundreds of students most wearing black held hands as their classmates was remembered. >> he had a lot of friends. >> the sophomore was found dead in his herndon home along with the bodies of his eight great brother and their parents. police searched the home and the crime scene unit is back at the house now. >> [inaudible] >> rose macintosh and her
daughter did not believe it until they came to the home to ask questions. albert and kathy peterson were always kind and caring. >> they were full of energy and they were wonderful people. >> police made the gruesome discovery after both parents must work and the teens were not in class. the police say it was not random and they're searching for a suspect. >> we're going through the tedious process of identifying and collecting any evidence at the scene. >> police tell us they will be here the remainder of the day. both kids were excellent athletes and good students.

employee health and welfare plans. we will have more on both decisions at night tonight at 5:00 on abc 7 news. if all soldier has been laid to rest in arlington national cemetery. jummy olabanji has more. >> sunny skies and silence led the horse-drawn casket to its final resting place 3 she was buried among the thousands who paid the ultimate sacrifice. her casket was draped in the stars and stripes. it is fitting for a young woman who put her love of country over herself. she died on september 5 when her helicopter crashed in afghanistan. she joined the army in 2003 and became a pilot in 2008. she -- it was one of the most dangerous positions available to women in the military today. dozens of her fellow comrades made the trip from fort bragg
